Welcome to Music Technology.
During this course, students will acquire a basic understanding of the structural, technical, and historical elements of music. Music Tech students will develop basic ear-training, keyboard, and functional singing skills, as well as engage in the creative process through individual and collaborative projects.
Students will explore the fundamental applications of sound engineering. Music tech students will learn to create and distribute music while focusing on musical terminology.
Public performances are used as a resource to meet specific instructional goals. Students may be required to attend one or more performances outside the school day to support, extend, and assess classroom learning.
